What is gross is New Jersey winning the lottery in the 5th spot and It was the Sabres who finished the 5th worst. Las Vegas bumped us to the 6th spot. We would have won if Las Vegas wasn't coming into the league |

Can you find me an example that would prove that Reinhart, a 1st and possibly more assets for Hanafin (and possible other assets) is a massive overpayment?
Was this someone else? - RhinoFan
Hanifin is 20 right now, was a top-5 pick and the only example you provided that was even close was Doug Hamilton (9th overall) and Boston's management has been making questionable trades and draft picks for the past 5 years, so that isn't exactly a benchmark example. And he was traded for a first round pick and two seconds in the 2015 draft, one of the STRONGEST drafts of the past several years.
Things aren't always black and white. There's a whole color spectrum.
Not to mention, I said a potential Reinhart for Hanifin trade STARTS AT Reinhart, a 1st and +. That doesn't mean We're trading Reinhart and 2 firsts for one player, FFS. I would expect if we're sending Reinhart and a 1st that a second would be coming back out way, possibly even 2 of them so stop worrying so much about right and wrong and learn how to form a proper argument. |

He can return to NJ no veto. He only needs approval to sign elsewhere from NJ |

He can go back to NJ, it's only if he goes somewhere else that everyone has to ok it.

Huh, I thought I heard it would take all teams agreeing to it. But, I guess finishing out the NJ contract makes sense. |

I can't believe people were actually invested in the lottery enough this season to be disappointed by it. I mean come on, you knew we weren't winning it.

While i doubt a straight up trade would get it done, in my opinion you both seriously overrate Hanafin and underrate Reinhart. Reinhart has the same draft stigma as Hanafin so using that as a point doesn't make much sense.

He only needs approval from rest of league of he signs with someone other that NJ. If he signs with NJ no approval needed. |
