But, when I said Reinhart averages 20 goals per year because that's what the math says, you dismissed it. When the math says Kane is a 20 goals per season player, actually a 25 goal per season player, you dismissed it. But, then you choose to accept the averages that prove Gretzky was a great player.

2 seasons is not a proper sample size to determine if a guy is a "proven 20-goal scorer" like you're claiming unless the guy scored 20 goals in both seasons. The 23 goals could have been just as much of a fluke as the 17 goals and vice versa. We simply don't know what Sam is projecting to be at this point unless we look at his points totals and he still hasn't even hit 50 points, either.

Math isn't always something you can use in an argument, sorry. Sam Reinhart scored 17 goals this season. He is not a proven 20-goals scorer. I can't believe this is even an argument.
