Your hysteria aside, it's a great game.
Mrs. Marwood and I feel filthy cheering for Edmonton but Kesler ... - Marwood
Just got back in from chores, so I'm picking up the game where I left off....no hysteria my friend, and I couldn't care if Anaheim had Kesler, Marchand, or the entire most hated Canucks foes of all time, I will never, ever cheer for Edmonton...

I read that too, I just didn't see it - I go to lot of OHL games so i was just trying to share some first hand experience for anyone that lives out of province. Thats all i'm saying.
I'm guessing that for all his skill, IQ and other strengths, his skating is the one consistent thing that scouts/reports talk about, so it must be the cause of future concern. Maybe they figure he can overcome it? Maybe hiring Bo's skating coach is the answer, who knows?
I'd say he's ranked higher too solely due to the fact that he's a centre. Realistically, guys like Robertson, M Strome, Gadjovich, Keating all put up great numbers, some even better, but you don't see there names in the top 10. - Brooks_Light
He barely played Center though.

Where do you see him going in the draft then? |

Correct, same with Toronto. I don't even care that they are Canadian teams. |

Exactly why he's being called more a power forward RW. Seen as high as 3 and low as 9.
Going with this talk on Viliardi and C choices. Let's get this out for all. If Nucks had a choice between:
1) Vilardi and Glass or 2) Vilardi and Mittlestdt
Which one should they choose in each scenario? |

Glass. He has a 2nd line center floor. |

Anyone have a reliable reference concerning the 'rumors' that Mittelstadt wishes to remain in college for the four full years? - Whiskey-Tango
The only thing i saw (from CA) says 2 years Uni plus 1 with AHL.
'Mittelstadt is committed to playing for the University of Minnesota next season. One scout I spoke with today suggested Mittelstadt will be an exercise in patience, as the pivot is likely two years of college and one in the American Hockey League away from the show'

i think we're taking a D at the draft.
just a hunch.
1. NJD: Patrick
2. Phi: Nico
3. Dal: Vilardi
4. Col: Glass
5. Van: Liljgren.
i'll learn to spell his name later. |

Fixed.
By the way. Liljegren is this years Chychren. (didn't learn to spell cause we took OJ) who fell cause of lack of Hockey IQ not illness or injury. |

I would much rather lilejgrin over Makar. Makar is playing in a league were there isnt much talent, so it wouldnt be hard to look good. |

If dallas doesnt i think Colorado would defiently pickup Heiskanen, their beyond set for centers. Which leaves Glass for van to pickup |

This is what could happen as laid on previous page. So if no real top C available then it's forward or D.
I see Tippett as better scoring forward then power forward Vilardi. Tippett RW is in BB mold and faster or better skater.
But then I think JB may go with D instead if the C's are off the board. Heiskenan, Makar and Liljegren or Foote all rate as potential top pairing D with offensive games.
So if all the C is gone go with D forget the forwards they are not elite enough to take with 5th pick. - Nuck4U
with good D being so rare 2018 might prove to be a better forward selection group. We can only speculate what he is projecting.
Glass or makar so far? |

however edmonton is probably canadas best chance at winning the cup. Its been since 1993 so best be sooner than later to bring it home no matter which canadian team |

It would be nice to see a CDN team buck Gary's system and bring the cup home…not the Leafs however and I would prefer OTT over EDM to do it this year…but if EDM somehow managed it in the Bettman era that would be good too. |

Other then Liljegren may drop, I don't see the similarities in their game. Chychren dropped because he didn't show any upside. He was the most NHL ready last season but he is not projected to get any better. That sounds a lot like Cal Foote this season. Guessing that's why Cal Foote isn't in anyones top 10.
I also don't see Liljegren falling that far. He's still in my top 10. Dallas, Colorado, Buffalo, Arizona, Detroit will all be looking for D this year if they can. |

Philly already had Pascal Laberge, Scott Laughton, German Rubtsov. Giroux, Konecky, Sean C in the nhl. I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to get 2 from them. |

Last year there was only 4 centers taken in the top 10. Could be as many as 8 this year. |

Yep, and everyone will spend the next 2 months guessing who that will be, and probably still be wrong. |
