Nice read.
Was hoping the Tryamkin deal was just for the one year that was previously reported.

@ Hefty
I find baseball boring . I am not a huge football fan . Every day I am on HB talking hockey same as you and most everyone else.
Having the NHL/AHL run from September to June makes sense because you need your farm team active while the NHL is in operation.
The juniors would profit immensely running from May. to October. The league would get more TV coverage to keep the hockey fanatics satisfied watching their prospects and looking for new prospects. I imagine the attendance revenue would increase immensely also .
You as a fan would have a much better idea who the true top prospects are by viewing them rather than reading about them for Buttons and others. |

I hope they start him in the AHL, let him get some experience on the small ice without pressure. Surely they have learned better than to rush players by now...right? |

I was also a kid once, they have no interest in wasting away beautiful summers in hockey rinks. Summer is a time to relax. Kids can have a two hour workout in before 10am and still enjoy the days. |

Do you think you could sell Canuck tickets if Boeser Goldobin are in Utica and Megna and Chaput are here? |

Some good points here. Id rather go to a Royals game when it's gray, myself. But Mem cup/playoffs in September/october would be sweet.

You got to go all Canadian. Everyone knows they are the only ones who really care about the cup. Start drafting Canadians only. Start with this draft. Again it's been proven that Canadians are the best at ice hockey. All you have to do is look at last year's draft. Top 5, you guessed it, all Canadians.

Goldobin has spent his time in the AHL. Boeser has played on the small rink all his life, I'm referring to a completely different set of experience/developmental needs. All players should be approached this way IMO. |
