According to Hefty both Nico and Patrick aren't blue chippers so who cares if we draft them. - CanuckDon
I don't think they are either. |

Pretty impressive interview from Dahlen... He comes across as quite level headed and sounds like he will listen to management when it comes to AHL vs. Europe next year. Good to have guys who want to do what's best for long term success |

If a player is projected as a top 6 forward or top 4 D I would call them blue chippers. Again, I am not referring to a players ceiling but their likely outcome. Whoever we choose, I would call them a blue chip prospect. |

Your single minded value for hockey players in fighting is silly. You only comment on my posts that you don't agree with which shows you like fighting too. But rest assured I have played on teams. No one liked challenging me . It didn't end well for them. You talk tough but have no idea what that means. Archy Bunker has nothing on you. - Nuck4U
You are an idiot. You are assuming I have no idea about fighting. I have fought many guys a lot bigger than myself and I have only ever lost one fight when I was jumped by many people for laying out their friend with one punch. I bet at 62 I could still kick your ass.
I have played hockey right up to Jr and I always got involved if my linemates were involved. I am sure when Stecher seen Martin rushing after him he was not asking him how many fights has he seen in the playoffs.
You always have to chime in . I have told you before I don't like you and i avoid your comments almost always. You still need to have your say even though most people have told you to take a freakin hike. |

I would think that a top-5 (maybe even top-10) pick is a blue chipper until they prove otherwise. Example would be Griffen Reinhart, 4th overall pick, wouldve been a blue chip prospect until everyone realized that he wasnt improving |

This is going to be a worse draft than 2012. 13, 14, 15 and 16 were really good. |

“Obviously, home plate chances and things like that,” he explains. “I’m a big believer in breaking out the puck and forechecking and denying breakouts. And zone entries. There is a lot of good information you can get right now, and the access you have at the NHL level is really incredible.”
this info coming from green is great news, finally a coach with a team play blueprint!

I like that he doesn't seem to have any holes in his game, they note weight and foot speed as things to work on but adding to both should be fairly attainable. - NorthNuck
I like that he's a righty. Not having holes in his game is highly debatable. He turns the puck over more than a lot of his competition a doesn't drive possession or stats as much either. Good 5v5 scorer though, clear skills. |
