Exactly, if youre picking top-5 or top-10, you are taking the one of the best of an entire age group worldwide, to me that's a blue chip prospect. After a period of time, that can obviously change. I think Dahlen has possible risen to blue chip status, Goldy seems fringe as he tries to transition into NHL, Boeser (who IMO became one), Juolevi and Demko have done nothing that would hurt their development projections so I would say they are blue chips as well

I think Dallas could dangle Nichushkin's rights and maybe some other components in exchange for taking a bad goalie back without hurting their current roster. Or they could even get a 3rd team involved who may want a vet goalie
