True.... and he'd never sign with NJ. He wont go from a playoff contending team, to a Stanley Cup favorite team to a rebuilding team. Believe Caps signs him and build around him, Kuzy, Backstrom, and Ovie.

Yeah, but the Devils have to think about the term future, not just 2 years, so I would have no problem having him being traded to them or even to one of the NY teams.

Anyone open to the idea of trading Henrique and our 2nd rounder to Anaheim for Lindholm/Fowler/Montour? Or to Minny/Carolina for a D?

I personally would do this deal. Maybe even throw in Merill or Lovejoy and get another piece back. thoughts?

So im scrolling through the OHL website, they have named some award winning for the season... OHL defenseman of the year, Darren Raddysh, is a free agent. After a quick read it looks like his skating is what has been his weak part, but its been noted that he has gotten better his entire OHL careen and was an average skater this year. That being said, he led the OHL (def) in scoring with 81 points in 62 games. As a comparison (but in the WHL), Severson put up 61 points in 64 games his overage year. I also read that Raddysh concentrated too much on the defensive side of the puck early in his career which might be another reason he has gone 'unnoticed', quietly playing a mistake free defensive role.
