Why are you using individual players ...a players success is totally different than a teams

How so? If you're going to say a team isn't successful, surely the leader isn't either. Similarly, if player helps lead a team to win they are successful. You can't have your cake and eat it to here, Sedin's and Iggy just aren't successful players by your own measurement. To a certain extent I agree, on the other hand I think 10 years of being competitive and 5 of "good enough to win" is very successful.

As much as Drouin is a good young gun Tanev gets undervalued often.
Tanev for Drouin/Callahan salary dump is pretty solid. Adding a pick is tough.
Say SJ 4th and see if thats a deal sealer if needed. Hall for Larson set a precedent.

I want no part of a tanev for drouin trade. The last thing we need is another small winger especially one that comes with a cap dump with that term. I would much prefer their first this year and next.

Druoins attitude is also a concern.

We need top 4 defense prospects in a huge way and a center.

Im hoping for Glass at 5.

Tryamkin leaving really hurt.

There is good reason for him falling. He looked brutal at U18s, poor passing, poor positioning, seemed to panic with puck and put his defense partner in a few bad positions. If we take a defenseman Heiskainen, Valimaki and Foote are my choices and Hague if we can get a late first.

After listening to the canucks army podcast i want no part of foote.. they were saying he doesnt skate well. If you look at nashville all 4 of their guys skate and can move the puck.

Yup everyone looking for quick fixes and its not worth it.. Looking for quick fixes is what lead to us loosing so many trades since benning got here.

I dont get the Drouin love to be honest. Hes good but not outstanding.. You will get way more in terms of unproven prospects and picks. We are not looking to make the playoffs for a couple years Drouin, Duschene do nothing for a rebuilding club.

Plus: we need center and defense.. we dont need more wingers..

Tanev and Hansen (20% salary) for 2017 1st, 2018 1st, Braydon Cobourn, Matt Carle(Buy out salary)

Vancouver salary added 5.5
Tampa salary added 5

Allows us to have 2 contracts at the deadline that we can hold back 50%, you know exactly who the 2 contracts are that id like to move

Where is Van going to get the extra cap space? That deal, Tanev for Drouin and Callaghan would increase our cap by 5 mil
