Eh in this case getting the right GM is more important that getting the right President IMO.

GM is the more pressing matter as well.

Hire a GM that has the envision for the team you want then hire the president who can work with the GM...

I'd rather not take a chance on Silfverberg. Could end up being another Bobby Ryan. Looks great on the Ducks but moves to the East and leaves a lot to be desired.

Silfverberg is a good top6 winger
I think Manson could anchor the 2nd pair, and be dependable late in games when we are up by 1
