I don't think Reinhart alone gets it done. Maybe straight up for Manson but not both of those guys. - Matthews_Auston
Ya but it depends on what's being offered? But Anaheim would want players /prospects and or picks that they don't have to protect! |

Am I the only one puzzled by Ullmark being such a supposed hot commodity? Why would Vegas take him? Carolina, Vancouver, Florida, Boston, Calgary, Anaheim, Los Angeles... don't they all have multiple goalies, including minor league guys that they have to choose to protect or expose? Not to mention FA goalies this summer?
Why on earth would Vegas want Ullmark to the point we're worried about losing him? - BeadyEyedDouche
Agree
Vegas is taking Subban from Boston
Only way they take Ullmark from us is if they want him to be their AHL team's backup |

You know, it's funny. I just read an article about that a couple of days ago. First time I had ever heard of it. - buffalofan19
I'm baffled it's even a thing. For one, most of my experience involves a mutual removal of the condom anyway at some point.
Not to mention where the baby soldiers go... I mean. From what I gathered the whole point of this trend is to NOT have the girl find out and in that case, you're basically most of the way to an unwanted child at that point.

Can anyone tell my why Okposo didn't play even one god damn shift with Eichel this season that isn't "Bylsma"? Because I think that alone was one of the biggest head-scratchers this season. - BeadyEyedDouche
They played 154 minutes together at 5 on 5, plus were on PP1 together |

2 prospects that are nhl ready

Ya Vegas will be taking a veteran goaltender and a younger/prospect goaltender for sure then signing a backup if the young guys not ready |

I can't think of any reason why he would though. Even if he liked Ennis his recent play would probably keep Vegas away. And if he did get taken, that's good. It's a win-win situation. - chilliard77
In just a Carrier v Ennis debate
Ennis has the worse contract, but is also more talented
And scored 20 goals multiple times
If the new GM feels he can get back to that (not crazy thinking)...
Then he wouldn't leave him unprotected
Carrier looks to be nothing more than an ok bottom6 guy,
who likely won't ever be more than a 10-13goal scorer
Ennis is up for discussion bc of injury & having a tough time playing in Bylsma's system... a new coach could do wonders |

ullmark has much better numbers in the nhl, both limited
I would not be shocked if vegas took both of them and a panther goalie |

The average top-6 guy will play around 1640 minutes over a season. Okposo is by all means our #1 RW. 154 minutes is not that much. |

They could conceivably do something like,
Mike Smith & Subban in NHL
Then choose Ullmark or another younger prospect for the AHL team
Or they could do 2 Vets in the NHL & 2 prospect types for the AHL
I'd love to be a fly on the wall as McPhee is choosing his team & making deals not to choose this guy or that guy
I'd watch every second if the NHL televised their meetings
Even if it was after the fact |

They have probably about 5-6 legit options for "prospect" choices that should become legit NHL goalies
Just depends on who they think has the most upside |

How much do you think Eichel's next contract will be? Bridge deal or straight to the big money? |

Subban is the #1 prospect available imo
Plus, Boston doesn't really have anyone else available worth choosing |

8 years $9 million per year is my guess which won't be done until midway through the season with the new GM when Eichel has 45 points in 40 games... |

Tough to say with a new GM coming in...
but I think most of us feel he'll get something in the neighborhood of 7.5mil on a long term deal, 5+ years |
