I think he has only 2 years left on his contract. I would not pay #8 for a guy who may walk from us soon, and I do like Hjalmarsson. But, #8 should land a guy who could be a long term part of our D core.

IMO Faulk is much better, and that's not a knock on Hjalmisson. I would probably make that trade if he has three more seasons on his deal, and hope he resigns.
