Like kovy and a 3rd to Columbus for hartnell and savard.

I think the big question for Shero and co is are they trying to make the playoffs next year or are they all in on a rebuild, including more top 5 picks?

I feel like last off-season, especially after the Hall trade, they felt like the team could potentially push for a playoff spot.

If they want to try to ice the best team possible next season, it makes sense to go after Shattenkirk, try to convince Kovy to play in NJ, and of course keep Schneider.

If they are going full rebuild, Shattenkirk doesn't make a lot of sense (especially on a long term deal), they'll definitely want to move Kovy for assets, and trading Schneider for young assets/high picks makes more sense.

Whoever they trade kovy to we'll likely have to take a bad contract back.

Are you on crack or something? Kovi for.....Luke Schenn. The Fact that you think a good return for someone who put up 75+ pts in 60 games is Luke Schenn makes my head hurt. I think most people are thinking more along the lines of atleast somthing equivalent to a first round pick. I personally hoping we send kovi to the isles for Barzal and a 2nd or third. Center depth of Nico/Nolan, Mcleod, Zacha, Barzal makes my mouth water . Or clearly the logical option is trade him for well needed Defensive help which would be very nice. NOT LUKE SCHENNNNNNN

Yeah I mean it's debatable what "full rebuild" means. I personally wouldn't trade Hall, at 25 he'll still be great for awhile. Kovy 100% and Schneider probably makes sense as well, though it makes me sad.

How about kovi for the flyers 2017 1st and conditional 2018 2nd? condition being making the conference final, if not it's a 3rd.

That way we can't (frank) up picking between nico and Nolan and you guys get way better now.
