Welcome to the (frank)ing nuthouse.

Mittelstadt is a mistake to take, Vilardi is the best of the 3. Mittlestadt has a higher ceiling than Glass, BUt he comes with a risk. I for one do not want to hear fans talking about how Mittlestadt is going to ditch the Canucks after 4 years like we did with Demko AND Boeser.

You don't skip over the best prospect because you have abandonment issues... Maybe the Canucks should wake the (frank) up & create this "culture" we keep hearing about. Prospects don't run away from good situations.

Since I'm new I'll stake my flag so you all know where I stand. We need a center so with our first pick I say we take Villardi, Mittlestat or Glass in that order. On the Tanev front I'm leaning slightly in favour of a trade but I'd also be happy to see him stay.

Interesting but what are your views on the Leafs?

Heiskanen is better than all of them.

Sometimes they do, some players have an idea where they want to play. Even if it is unconfirmed, a rumour that he is playing 4 years of NCAA worries me about him.

it's all pretty irrelevant. Heiskane and Mittlestad aren't likely to fall to 5th. Our choice is Glass, Vilardi, Makar, Liljegren ( ) or Petterson. I don't believe they will consider Necas at 5.

gives them room to go out and sign bishop or mason. I like it and the conditional seems reasonable. Lethonen makes more sense for them than Niemi though.

Rumour is Mason may go to Winnipeg

I hope Canucks draft Heiskanen with he 5 th and Ratcliffe with the 33 . It will be fun to hear Hefty complain all year about no one to replace Hank and Onesmallleap pissing off Lefty more by saying to extend Hank
- VANTEL

he's still a top center ...both Sedins 2.75 per yr for 2 yr extension!

that should get the big guy all worked up

on another note that Czech Jan Kovar looked like he'd be a good fit for the twins

I was listening to the 1040 for a few minutes today and they were talking about someone playing with the twins and how they will rise again to 70 pts each. They also said Green hassaid he has a few ideas how to get more from them (finding a line mate for them).

I know we dropped 3 spots last year and this , but for the next two years I hope we finish bottom three . The goal should not be trying to get to #17.

Any player over 35 should only be signed 1yr at a time. If you sign them for more then 1 yr and they retire before the contract is up, the team is on the hook for the cap hit.

i get the desire for more high picks , i really do , but with the team as it stands its likely we will see slight improvement next year. A contract year is always a good motivator , so i expect to see the twins do better than the last 2 years. And after this years lottery it is of no real befenit to be dead last , because the damage to the fan base and the up and comming prospects is not worth a 4th or 5th pick imo.

we can finish 8-12 and still get a good pick and with the lottery you never know how it'll play out
