I think Benning found better options than Olsen and Neill. You can't bring in 6 new rookies every year and in the last two years we brought in Hutton and Stecher. They look a little more long term than Bartowski Weber and Larsson .

It is a bit of a slow process but Chatfield looks decent and Brisebois may be a NHL player and of course Juolevi.

It is getting better.

I think Makar could be that guy. I know I will be crucified for this I have him over Lilgergren and Heiskonen. Dallas and Colorado both need D I don't see him on the board before us. I still think we need a centre.

Exactly, Brock is a lock to make the team unless he really sucks in camp/pre-season. Same with Stetcher. So basically it's really only Goldobin that could classify as an "exciting" prospect in the AHL.

Dahlen is NHL or back to Sweden, that's how they got him to sign. He originally didn't even want to sign this year, wanted to play another year in Sweden. That's what he told the Sens before the trade.

Rest aren't really exciting to me. Subban can be fun to watch in the AHL, but it's not that exciting because you know his NHL upside is limited.
