If he played for Canucks and scored 40 points we would pay him 4 mil per. Our rule of thumb for the forwards is 1 mil per 10 points.
Our D is half a mil per point - VANTEL

What a difference Gino Letang and Sid make . We have Hank Dank and Edler |

Reading all the whining on Twitter about the Ducks game. Lucic crying I don't even know what goalie interference is any more
In the playoffs you either give it up the ass or you take it up the ass. Oilers right now are takers, |

Yup ....I think there has to be something said for teams that are being able to bringing in prospects easier ...playing on a line with a Crosby or Malkin has to make the learning curve easier than teams near the bottom ...maybe they are good at drafting ...but maybe these guys just have an easier time adapting to the NHL when they aren't playing with bad players ... |

As a Canuck fan I don't care that the calls are going against Lucic . Payback is a b1tch |

I love Perry's style . One of my favorite players.
Truthfully I am not following the playoffs. I am too busy day and night trying to figure out what to do with Rodin |

Bo appears to show up to training camp every year with a new trick.
Year 2, Better, more accurate shot.
Year 3, Vastly improved skating and acceleration.
Perhaps he works on his distribution skills this summer. He certainly has the size, I.Q and determination to continue to push his trajectory. Assuming he plays with BB, who has an unreal knack for finding open spaces and shooting lanes, Bo could very well develop the confidence to wheel and deal.
I would agree that his tendency to hog the puck mid-way through the season was concerning...

Yes. Amazing how you, Don and Northnuck said exactly what I did in my original responses to DCT. As we started that conversation but not a single acknowledgement of it. We left with his opinion that Bo can't develop those skill sets to make him an elite 2C for a contender. It's DCT's take you either have it or you don't. I disagreed about development when it came to Bo for the reasons you confirmed in your post.
Maybe I should have flooded the thread with outrageous wording instead of a couple civil retorts of discussion. I only say this (not directed at you) as it's typical that posts to ridicule are focused on and not the ones that have laid out the same points that are later talked about in agreement. |

Sure, but the Pens went through a stretch where they didn't do poop in the playoffs because the team around those guys was bad. Recipe for winning in this league is having a star core surrounded with quality depth.
They just beat Washington without Sid and Letang. |

Pedan in the NHL is also a big leap of faith. He wasn't even the Comets best dman last year. Colby Robak was their #1 dman(27 y/o former 2nd round pick of Florida who's free to sign with any NHL team). |

He's good, but only in one zone. Weirder thing is they gave up a pick to sign Larsen when they could have just tried the same thing for free with Subban. |
