Thus with needs/position who should Nucks sign plus send to the Comets?

i think zhukenov is gonzo. which is unfortunate. not signed.

Yeah. If he's going to KHL can't they qualify him or get to keep his rights? He was drafted out of Russia. So, he's not going back into draft like Olson and Tate, right?
Also, did you notice in the post on draft picks left going back to 2009 only Bo and Hutton are on the Canucks. Guance, Labate, JV and Rodin all questionable for next season. Why BB is important for JB especially with Tree MIA
Yes Raddysh is on the radar like other teams want him too. We'll have to wait until his playoffs are over before we know.
Nucks have 3 more contract spots open until July1. Then they have about 21 open. Lots of RFA's but must signs are Bo and Guddy. Of the six I listed in above they are all likely singed. They may get waived like Chaput and Gartieg for example. Shore is my question mark. But Canucks are very low on RH and centers. So he's more likely then Zalewski.

shore was out of desperation. didn't wanna raid utica anymore. the comets were trying to qualify for the playoffs. i like chaput and could see him back here as a 4th liner. Zhukenov i don't think was ever signed? i really wanted to see him in utica.
im not sure how it all went down. id prefer they keep his rights somehow. if they haven't already. in 3 years u can airlift him and tree back in.
but i'm sure all the haters would be against that.

We got Rodin back but unfortunately injured. So yeah keep the rights and you never know. Depth for another season.
As for now if they sign Chaput and Shore they should waive them for depth. Let them help develop the new incoming college and CHL players. Same with signing and waiving Labate.
I'm on the fence with Guance cause he's more likely to get picked up on waivers like Boucher. Might as well sign and keep them up. That leaves Cram to waive if JV is ready. I already have DD waived, traded or kept on IR. He offers less then Skille at this point. I also would IR Rodin to test out Dahlen. Then send one of them down.
Thus, you could say four spots left. As seen in the post above there is youth headed for AHL with returnees there too. But there are talent needs with Nucks. The forward spots open then could go JV, BB, Goldy and Dahlen to start. That leaves OJ and Pedan on D. Biega is now easier to waive post expansion draft.

Sorry, I agree he's probably in the discussion for top ten, and he could go to 6(Not worthy of 5, even in this horrible draft year), but like like the vast majority of draft eligible players i don't believe that he plays more then 128 games in the nhl over his career.
Butt i kinda feel like that for everyone after the top two. Now i know that there will be some players that could shine, its just a really weak draft when a kid like Klim has a shot to go that high.....
But way too put your balls up on the wall so that we can throw darts at them. I won't do that, no need to expose them.
I don't really like anyone special.... this year after the top two of course.
(frank) I don't even know if I could choose one if I was the GM mode gm. Maybe mittlestat, villardi, Rasmussen, glass, makar, hirch..... then it drops off fast... with even a few of the guys that i mentioned not really being good enough to be considered in most first rounds.... trade the #5, Sven and tanev for Drouin and their 2018 first and second round picks.

This was a coherent, well thought out, post.... for the most part anyways. If Dorset is good to go, and doesn't shy away from contact, then i feel he's a very needed element to our team. So he'd play.

Hate to say it, but I disagree with your assessment, and I'm sure you will disagree with mine.
No thanks to Rodin, go back to Sweden.
I'd give Guance a chance, not Boucher, Dorset will, in my opinion, be on the team.
JV, Cramaosa?, Dahlen, Goldobin, Boesser, a training camp tryout and promptly send them to the AHL. I would let Boesser have a bit longer, but he needs proper development.
Joulevi should go back to junior if he struggles at camp, why oh why press someone into the NHL on such a terrible team.
I'm not nor ever will be a guy that thinks or wants the developing youth playing in an environment that will set them up for failure. There are no lucky bounces, there are no high end talent prospects that are going to propel the Canucks to the next level.
Let the kids develop in the development league, the team will suck, but play to win, only to lose and continue to draft high and become better through that process.
Again I know you will disagree, but I believe in reality and not what ifs, or lucky bounces.
Hockey post, no hate, no malice, just really disagree and hope most of this suspect talent is in the AHL.
