may not have to go that far. Most of their expansion draft problems stem from the fact that they have to protect bieksa.

If you could work a deal and convince him to waive they might do something around 8th overall. Would allow them to keep silfverberg.

Lindholm, Fowler, Vatanen, Manson

They can only protect 1 more forward,
and that would leave either Rakell of Silfverberg exposed

So they'd still need to trade either a defenseman or one of those 2 forwards who I'm sure they'd wanna keep

With Montour & Theodore ready,
seems like they'd just trade a defenseman

They would never leave Rakell exposed. It would be like the Preds leaving Neal exposed, except way worse.
