If the rumours of how McPhee wants to build his team via experienced D and young fwds, Benn would be more attractive to him and Beaulieu would look dangerous perhaps. Just something else to think about. It would be a gamble, but also a way to keep both if Beaulieu were left unprotected.
Personally, I would protect Beaulieu. There are a lot of Jordie Benns out there.

Only Canadian team left, why not cheer for them?

Why would one care that they play in a Canadian city, and cheer for them for that reason? If my favorite team in any sport doesn't win the championship, I only care that certain other teams do NOT win either. If a team is from Ottawa, Arizona, or Pakistan, why would I cheer for them, if they are not my favorite team? This has nothing to do with which country you live in. It's not the Olympics, or World Championships. In fact, I would say that I want any team EXCEPT a Canadian team (and the teams I hate) to win it, so that the Habs can be the next Canadian team to win it, as they were the last to do so 400 years ago. |
