Is anyone else worried that Hinkie's legacy is going to be tarnished by that putz Colangelo? He already mucked up trading Okafor last year.
The beauty of what Hinkie has done is that 76ers will get the Lakers first round pick next year, followed by Sacramento's pick the following. Both teams are tire fires at the moment. |

The Pens better get some of their injured guys back or they're gonna be in deep kimchi the rest of this series. |

I could totally enjoy a Nashville v. Ottawa finals.
I think at this point, I dislike Anaheim much more than I dislike the Pens. I just can't stand Kesler, Perry, and Getzlaf. If it comes down to the Pens and Ducks, I'm siding with the Pens and I don't care how many Cups that gives them. |

I'm pulling for Craig Anderson. If their is a God, that guy deserves to hoist Lord Stanley. |

It would totally be a feel good story, the only real drawback to the Sens winning the cup would be that their jackwagon owner totally doesnt deserve it. |

"There's a couple of paths we can go down, that measured, organic growth path, or speed things a bit with free agent acquisitions or trades," Colangelo said. "Having two top draft picks might have put us in the position where we could be more apt to go down that slower, organic path. But we're going to have both opportunities available to us now and we'll look at all options."

Isn't the new GM of the sixers basically an NBA puppet? |

It's a harrowing tale of panic, puppetry, nepotism, and good versus evil. |

Because, of course Colangelo has only gotten the jobs he's gotten because his father was a long time NBA exec.

The NBA all but forced the Sixers's weak-kneed ownership into hiring Bryan Colangelo's daddy as a "chairman." The new chairman, under NBA directive no doubt, wanted Hinkie to get demoted to "stats boy" and have Bryan, the son, become the new GM so as to give the franchise some air of respectability, despite not giving two (frank)s and a Hershey's kiss about other teams doing the same in a more incompetent manner. No nepotism there though -- hiring the son was purely a merit based hire. Hinkie, having pride, chose to resign, shave his head, and journey across California in pursuit of arcane knowledge to defeat the evil menace that is the Colangelos. Colangelo the Elder then stepped down (of course) to become an "advisor" and re-join his rattlesnake clan in Arizona, while Bryan once again had a GM job. And all was well with the Sixers franchise..........or was it? |
