I still hate the Sens too
Not as much, but still....
And they still have Chris Neil
And that scumbag Brian Murray is still a part of their organization
Toronto has worked their way up to my most hated
2. Boston
3. Ottawa/Philly... the hate lingers
5. Montreal
On the rise:
NyR & Edmonton - jdfitz77
Why is Edmonton rising up on your list? Besides the obvious McDavid>Eichel, Draisaitl>Reinhardt and pretty much everyother positional comparison you can think of. |

I thought Anaheim/Ottawa was the lowest. Regardless, the majority of viewership comes from the North East US and a few scattered markets like Chicago. Nobody in those regions care about Canadian or Sunbelt teams so why would they watch? It's not a refelection on the quality of Hockey or star power, not that I think your suggesting that. - Larsson_fan
I think it was.
Yeah, not at all. Just the things you mentioned. The NHL is poopting their pants because they're not going to make money like if it was Boston and Chicago. I'm Canada would watch if the Sens made it and to a lesser extent if they don't, but you don't really factor into the NHLs ratings. They don't even mention the Canadian ratings when talking about ratings. Why I'm not sure.
Edit: And I bet Buffalo will be at least 2nd in local ratings. |

Because they are insignificant. This is a barren ,unpopulated frozen wasteland, dont ya know? There are more people in New York than in our whole damned country. |

Yeah, basically...
And it's not even from Edmonton fans
It's all the Sabres fans that won't shut the F up about & move on
I'm basically just sick of hearing about it
No offense to you (or most Oilers fans) |

I really don't think we are that far from the playoffs
The Antipin signing is huge if he works out
Trade for one solid top4 defenseman,
& the defense should be much improved
Get a 2nd, without giving up Kane or Reinhart...
and we're definitely a playoff team imo |

Murray would have made all of that happen in his sleep..... at the very least before breakfast. Why is he vilified so much then ? |

Idk how u can say for sure he'd have made that happen
But even if he did...
would he bring in another Kulikov &/or Bogosian?
Murray was HORRIBLE when it came to building our defense
The only thing he did right was draft Guhle
Things he did wrong...
-Bogo
-Kulikov
-traded McNabb
-traded Pysyk
-failed to spend more picks drafting defense in the 1st & 2nd round
(Only 1 out of a possible 14)
So with our MAJOR issue being defense...
u see why ppl were uncomfortable about what more he might do/screwup?
Also, Murray has been known to "overpay" and he's already used up quite a bit of the assets that Darcy did such a good job acquiring
IF Murray were back this season...
he'd have definitely been under the gun to fix the defense or else
So I believe he likely would've overpaid again
Not all Murray's moves were bad...
but he's failed as far as the defense goes |

I saw him once with Soundgarden in the 90's. It was great. Right up there with when I saw the Police as a kid. - burner087
his presence on stage, and ability to hit the high notes, made him a much better singer by far than anyone else live in the grunge era
