they'll actually have a few choices for those roles...skunk could be put into a 3c role...then there's Larsson who was there last season....evan Rodrigues looks like he may be able to play 3c as well and either he or gus could hold down the 4c role...no real need to go outside the organization for that this season

so how does UFA to be making 5+ mil help that? They take on more cap in this deal.

i mean its fine and not a priority at this point but i think its worth considering if the plan is playoffs next year (i dont agree but if they want it) finding your 3C at good money pushes e-rod to line four and gives you great depth at C. Means you dont have to pay a first for hanzal or something.

He had more points than him in his rookie year at less than 1 mil for 2 more years. I dont see how anyone could say LW is a position of weakness for them. if anything it'd be a strength

better scorer sure i buy that, but again its not like they are weak there. Im not knocking your source its just probably a deal that goes nowhere given that its not an area of need for them. If Kane was RW i bet theyd be way more interested
