Anyone else use the wgr app? It looks like the only show they updated since March is something about beer. Or is that just my phone? I wanna listen to botterill - jcragcrumple
I usually use my web browser to access WGR. Between their app and the one they link you to for live audio I have not had much luck.

I tried to come up with a trade where we get 2 all stars back, on a long term deal with hedman and rfa rights for kuch
if jack is going to be a top 5 center, I think that is the type of return you should expect if you moved him, a trade that wows you - homiedclown
Those are two awesome players, no doubt. That would be one hell of a haul to get back in exchange for one player.
I just think Jack is too rare of a talent to trade, period. You typically only get that player by winning a lottery. I think his ceiling is still much higher than what we've seen, also. |

Any Eichel trade talk is completely ridiculous!!! You guys must be bored, he's about as untouchable as they come. Imagine the numbers that he would put up with legit wingers, and he's only 20. |

If you trade Eichel. I better get
1. First line LW,RW possibly center
2. 2 First Line D
3. Your next 5 first round picks.
Thank you.

Business plays into it as well. Jack Eichel is the face of this franchise. The team sold fans on the idea that 3 seasons of embarrassing hockey would be worth it to get this guy on your team. Neither Kucherov nor Hedman can accomplish that.
It's the same reason all the Ovechkin trade talk in Washington is laughable. |

Exactly, he's our franchise !!!! I'll even take it a step further, and say that I'm drinking the Botterill Kool-Aid, as a matter of fact, I'm drinking the whole pitcher. Pittsburgh gets more out of their depth players than any team I've seen. When Crosby, Malkin, or Letang goes down, that team doesn't miss a beat, and Botterill has been around for most of it. For what he hasn't been responsible for directly, he has been learning, and understands. We aren't far off, with structure that a new coach will bring, and a few roster tweeks, we will be golden. |

Exactly. My point is I wouldn't trade him. No Team in the NHL would give up what I listed for him.
We need to lose the dead weight guys and bad locker room guys and bring in guys who are hungry and who skate well and that tweak would bring this team around quick. |

I love the app. No problems here and being a transplant don't know what I would do without it (in terms of keeping my finger on the pulse of Bills and Sabres.) Make sure you check for updates to confirm you have the latest version. |

bills didn't sell out the comeback playoff game vs the oilers - homiedclown
Lazy/poor comparison Homie - you know better than this. History lesson: Buffalo didn't sell out the wildcard game vs the oilers because the week before they had a game to clinch the division and a bye. We all assumed they'd win (as they always did back then), and tickets weren't put on sale until after they lost (and Kelly + others got hurt). With only 5 days to sell it out (right after Christmas too as you know), it was too much to ask for a sell out. |

how do you figure
they had to win in houston to get the bye, and houston was a good team
fans didn't grab the tickets, bottom line
and they were cheap then, I camped out all night to get my tickets |

Are you implying that is out of the question ? - fastek
I'm implying that it might be a conversation for maybe.... 6 years from now. We need a couple of wingers, and to tighten up our D now. Discussion about our franchise players contract 7 years away is a little premature. |
