Were you watching the same series as everyone else? - letsgoducks
Yes but with the benefit of not being a fan of either team so I was removed from any biased views, or opinions, and able to have a neutral, objective view of the events that really unfolded. |

I didn't really see anything that crossed a line from any of them. Personally, I'd love Kesler on my team. - Saux21

Rinne's equipment isn't as comfortable to lay on as Talbot's was. |

I view Kesler as a player you hate to play against, but would love to have him on your team. I thought he was really effective, especially in the Edmonton series. |

Cant help but wonder where this series is at if the refs call the crosscheck penalty on Manson that led to the GWG in game 3, and the two obvious penalties they missed in game 5 when Rinne played the puck in an area he cant, and when Manson got high sticked in the face. If they call that Manson doesn't take the penalty he did. Such a shame the refs had such a major impact on this series. That said Rinne was out of his mind this series. - letsgoducks
Considering Anaheim should have been out in 6 in the second round whining about a non call and then you team getting an undisciplined retaliation penalty in round 3 is pretty weak. The NHL refereeing, offsides and video replay is a biased. If you can not see that your as blind as the guy that didn’t see the puck deflect off of the glass and out on replay in slow motion. |

Just in case people don't fully understand why there's an insane amount of people flooding the Ducks blog now that they've been eliminated and celebrating, it's basically these 3 names. People tend to strongly dislike those that far too often play like rats. |

(frank) off and go talk about the draft since that is the only thing your team has excelled at the last ten years. Good series Rinne made a lot of timely saves and we didn't get any today. Good year and the defense should be even better next year. Still wish we had Freddie over Gibson but that's the way it goes. |

The playoffs. - yzermaneely
Kings weren't a good team this year. Who the hell would have even wanted to watch this years King's team in the playoffs? Definitely not me. They would have been swept. Instead we get a relatively high draft pick that we'll either use to pick a future impact player or we'll package it for high end talent via trade. The Ducks have now burned half a decade (literally) when they've had a team that should compete for a Stanley Cup. How many division banners are we at now? Seriously? I don't even know. It's literally all for nothing when you don't win the games that actually count the most at the end of the year. The Kings made the most of the great teams they had. That's what champions do. The ducks don't. |

To the Ducks. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch of ...uh well. No worries. Best thing you did was make sure Kings didn't make playoffs. Show the Flames they didn't belong. Screwed the second coming with a nice spill. Not bad. SoCal couldn't care less really about more hockey. Been there done that. So a conference finals is a win win. Enjoy the accolades of achievement. But always remember you could have had it all if you weren't a stingy puke punk team and couldn't offer a pick for Miller at TDL. Enjoy the subpar goaltending. |

Been saying this for years. All the ducks get is a poop banner that shows they can't win when it matters most.... they won as many cups as the kings did this year NONE! That's what matters. They played a poop flames team and an inexperienced Oilers team. Ran into a team that could compete and they lost. Like always. They didn't face LA, SJ, or chi. They had it in the bag to make it to finals and pissed yet another good season away. Oh well, better for us kings fans. |

This is well said.
The Flames ran out of steam heading into the playoffs.
The Oiler story of non-playoffs is well documented.
The Preds were neither worn out nor inexperienced. Even after losing players they made the Duh-ks into their b itches |
