I've had the 2023 Mitsubishi outlander phev for 10 days now.

We're at about 800KM (500 miles?) and we've used nearly a half tank of fuel. We did drive one day approximately 160KM without any battery charge.

It's comfortable, and really smooth with more than enough power......especially from a stop. I haven't tested it long range highway but I'll have that done in August at the latest. I'm interested to see how the car itself uses the different driving modes.

Charging time is slow, I'll install a 2nd level charger by winter.

I get home, make sure the port is unlocked and then insert the charger. It locks itself and begins charging.

A full charge takes about 12 hours on 110v. That gives me roughly 40 miles of range. Costs me about $2.50

You cannot drive away with the charger in, you must unlock and disconnect. It takes 10-20 seconds to plug in or unplug your car, including storing the charging cord.

i couldn't get a picture but yesterday i saw (heard, really, and then saw) what i've decided was a 1967 lincoln continental convertible, with the back doors that open backward. super clean. chrome looked like it was brand new. the body was dark blue or black. top was down and there was no hood, just a bunch of engine sticking out everywhere.

even idling at a stop it rumbled like it was a real muscle car. which i guess maybe it is now that they jammed all that engine in there.
