when i bought my tv, samsungs and LGs were all the rage. but the salesman told me tvs only last like 4 years nowadays so i bought a sanyo for like 2/3 the price and it's still going stong to this very day.

i can beat that. i know of a time when someone wanted rally wheels for his pinto, ikr, and they were acquired from a car that was in the parking area of body shop. i was told the paint was still so fresh you could smell it as the tires were being removed. lol
