I was talking about the goat head. It's the only Red, Black, White I could see working. I'd like to rock the Black Goathead as a third jersey.
I'm trying to find the photoshop someone did of eichel in the Royal blue. Looks amazing. - Buffalo--Sabres
No more 3rd jerseys next year |

I mentioned Neal a few weeks ago.
We have room to add forwards just as well as defense
Vegas is going to select as many D as possible to use as trade chips
If we can snag Neal, we can use one of our other forwards or Neal as a chip for a D man. - sbroads24
Damn it
I missed u suggesting him
Guess u beat me to it, good call
I think he will be available at a decent price
I'll trade them Fasching straight up
Add a pick if necessary |
|

I get why they did it as well however they also forgot that Buffalo is a city that is filled with traditionalists right or wrong.
I mean there is still opposition to tearing down the Freezer Queen plant. - Stripes77
I know, I don't get it. |

No more 3rd jerseys next year - Matthews_Auston
Yeah, they'll get around to it eventually though. They said none because they wanted Adidas to just be able to make the deadline with the normal home and away. I think it's a good idea. Take a year or two off of the thirds. |

Probably not, but he only has a year left on his deal as well.
Even if we keep Kane, I'd add a guy like Neal for cheap given the chance - sbroads24
i dont mind neal. he is a decent top 6 role player who has been around the block. i would prefer him over Kane if kane is, as they say, a lockerroom issue |

If/when Pittsburgh does trade MAF, does that mean they have to sign a goalie to have one to expose in the expansion draft? They would protect Murray and I don't think they have another goalie that meets the expansion requirements. - adambuffalo
It doesn't look like they have another goalie they can expose
So they probably just get one in return in the Fleury trade
Or they could do a separate deal with someone like Anaheim & get Enrith's rights for a very low pick, then sign him.
Btw...
I know Enroth would still come back here if offered a deal.
Even if it was league minimum
Although he's loving the LA area as well |

I guess it depends how they view Fasching
Him, Bailey, Baptiste, Rodrigues & Carrier are all roughly the same grade of prospect, so any of them could work imo
The key is that they'd want someone just about NHL ready,
who they won't have to protect
So I guess forget Carrier in that idea then

although i like the guy i just don't think we have the room, unless we move on from nilsson and don't sign peterson. then we might need a stop gap nhl back up to split time with Ullmark |

is he an upgrade over Kane?
serious question as he is on the decline already - homiedclown
Upgrade, no
But Neal is still a 20goal scorer who's a female dog to play against
I'd like to have him and Kane
Heck... and Nash... and Pominville (if it helps us get a discount on a Dman)
Keeps Bailey, Baptiste & Carrier in Rochester for 1 more year of development
Which is probably what J Botts would like |

If Petersen signs, he's in Rochester
Ullmark could be the backup here, or be in Rochester again, or possibly get picked by Vegas
Kasdorf sucks, he's in the echl |

That's why I suggested him
Fasching is the worst skater of the group, which is the major reason I'd put him below the others... but he's still a good prospect & great around the net
Bailey is vey Kane-ish in his style of game, but can he score in the NHL? At the very least, he's fast & big & tough. Love his game
Baptiste could be a future winger for Jack with his speed & sniping ability
I don't think Carrier will ever be a scorer in the NHL,
so with the guys we have coming... I'm ok trading him too
E Rod I like, but idk if he's a top9 guy when u think about who else we have
I'd like to keep him, but I'm ok if he's traded
Nylander is a step above all these guys imo |

I agree with most of this post. I think Carrier has a ton of potential but I don't think the Sabres organization can afford to hand onto him as a project. He would be better suited a on established squad of veterans.
IMO E-Rod is even better than he's being given credit for and is better than all the aforementioned players. |
