I bet the Penguins wished they had Stolarz, Gouldbourne and Laughton instead of the scrubs they got stuck with.

why exactly are you a Flyers "fan"? So I guess the Flyers never find talent like Ghost, Lindblom and Myers outside of the first round. News flash, yes the Penguins have drafted well finding Guentzel, Murray, and Rust but they have just as many misses as every other NHL franchise. what they do have is the spoils of absolutely sucking for a good 5 year period and netting Malkin and Crosby. Pretty sure those two make it much easier. The Flyers haven't tanked like some of the other teams like Pitts and I won't kill them for that as much as it would have obviously made it easier to rebuild.

How can you count Lindblom and Myers before they play an NHL game? Lets see them produce at the NHL level before pronouncing them as anything other than a prospect.

fair enough but you act like every team doesn't have more misses than hits and you act like the Flyers never find players outside of the first round. you female dog and moan about EVERY move that doesn't work out like its exclusive with the Flyers. I thought the years under Holmgren had good and bad moves. I have confidence the Flyers are heading in the right direction with Hextall. that isn't to say he wont make mistakes. hell, Keith Allen made mistakes. what GM doesn't? I just won't kill an organization for not wanting to get better like the Penguins did TWICE when landing talents like Lemieux, Malkin and Crosby. would I be ok with it? well yeah I would. But I get them not stripping it down like that over years and I respect that they don't want to do it.
