My guess is either Fucale or McNiven will spend some time in the ECHL. McNiven could be sent back to junior as an overager, but I doubt they will do that. Or they will trade one of them for future considerations.
Why would they trade McNiven, the CHL's goaltender of the year, for almost nothing?
Now getting anything, and I mean anything, for Fucale is a win.

I was kidding...but yes, they will have to make room. If Montoya isn't picked up by Vegas, they will have Lindgren as #1 in Laval, Fucale and McNiven fighting for the backup spot.
