IMO, the Lehner trade doesn't hurt nearly as much as McNabb & the two 2nds for a 4th liner (Dlo) and 3rd line ceiling guy (Fasching). That is really the only trade that GMTM made that I'd instantly have back if given the chance. Dlo and Fasching are guys that I think could be picked up pretty much anywhere instead we gave up 1 dman and 2 picks (that should have become dmen) for them.

I don't see Fasching even as a Top6 projection, at least not yet. Hes a bottom 6 NHL projection to me. Hope he proves me wrong though.

Never been very excited about Fasching. Always viewed him as a 3rd liner in NHL

I haven't been a fan of him bc of his skating
But it has improved quite a bit
And he's very good around the net
Could definitely develop into a 20+ goal scorer if his skating continues to improve

Idk. I didnt want to draft Nylander and I think we absolutely shoudl have taken a d-man. But with that said I think its way too soon to trade him. We dont know what he is and neither do other teams. As much as I would like that draft back I think its just a panic move to try to move him for a d-man right now.

I left out Nashville bc I think they go 4-4-1,
But they'll lose a forward they'd like to keep (Jarnkrok or Wilson probably)
