Potential Meanings:
--pred_26 IS Bob (Bob was a crazy guy that phoned into the 'Talking Dead' in 2013)
--The Preds know that they are in trouble after knowing the Pens played badly, but still beat them.
--pred_26 has been or will be banned (number of days to be determined)
--The NHL needs to change - OR it will become less popular and die, the end of the NHL may be near unless it protects ALL of its players including stars & calls ALL penalties!
--I'm just Crazy, like Bob & pred_26
--We should just stop posting if all this time is wasted on a debate about the stupid catfish
--The end of the series is close, but if the Pens don't win game 2 and Rinne has a great game, the Preds could come back from this krisis
--The Pens will win the series 4-0
--I'm hoping this board gets back to talking about hockey, cus this is why I'm here & I enjoy hearing opinions and other ideas about the Pens as they journey on attempting another SCF win!

Going 37 mins without a shot on goal is domination not score effects.
- Feds91Stammer

If the game had been tied earlier, do you think the Penguins would have gone 37 minutes without a shot?

Ruhwedel has too much gamble in his game for my liking both in forcing passes and roaming for hits. Like the raw tools and know I'm in the minority, but he worries me far more than Hainsey. He's the type of guy who will have a nice corsi but a minus 2 because of careless mistakes. I trust Streit's decision making more. I agree though I expect to see Hainsey stay mostly because the PK was so bad I don't see them weakening it.

Hags surprised me as well. Rowney or maybe Wilson could sit for him. Time to get back to the speed game.

- Tojo.

I just think we need as many fresh legs as we can get in this series. Players that can skate. Streit and Hainsey don't fit that bill. Oh well, Hainsey isn't going to sit anyway.

Not that it's a good thing..but wasn't tied long and boom..we got the 4th. Just rather see more determination up 3 than tied at 3.

I'm sure Hags is injured. He hasn't had the speed that he had before.
Who would sit, Rowney?
If Hags is 85% or 90%, I would make that switch!

- so_buzz11

a healthy hags is big for the PK, and just good at helping to change momentum a bit from time to time. he has to still be fighting something.

as for who to sit, definitely either wilson or rowney. its a shame because they are both busting their balls big time out there. Wilson is just really dragging down malkin and kessel offensively at even strength.

I don't think Rust is close to %100. He's been pretty invisible and slower than usual.

I can respect that even if I disagree, but you're right, probably not happening anyways.

When rusty initially came back, he was a man possessed, then idk what happened but it looks like you're right and he's possibly re injured himself? No clue. More needs to be said about hainsey's play. Is he signed for another year? PRaying to god that he isn't. Every time he touches the puck, bad things happen. Besides that one time he didn't know what to do with the puck on the boards, got clobbered, and then luckily the puck squirted out and lead to a goal for us. Man, he is frustrating lol.

The pens can't possibly be worse than they were last night, but they also cannot be any more opportunistic either. If rinne continues to regress, as he probably has zero confidence after last night, the pens have a solid chance at hoisting lord Stanley pt. 2. The effort level needs to be greater though, and god dang don't give hainsey as many minutes.

Simple: hats are universally acceptable forms of celebration for an achievement in all arenas for all players. Octopi/squid/whatever are local forms of something for something at a specific location for a specific group of players (ie the local team)

In addition to the fact that I think only Lady Gaga would consider wearing a octopi on her head, while nobody else in their right mind would do so

What about Stars fans coming into others venues and yelling stars during the national anthem, should they be escorted out Bc they are not in their own venue?

Your name isn't Bob is it, Bob from Chattanooga?

"The hour is coming; the hour is coming," Bob said in March 2013. "All that are in the graves shall hear his voice. There seems to be no room"

I think Bob knew that the Nashville Predators were going to lose 4-0 to the Penguins, so long ago! (Note: Walking Dead reference)

- so_buzz11

Nope, I don't even know a Bob. Bizarre reference but no it is not I. However I may have been me on coast to coast am...

What are your feeling on littering Wal Mart parking lots with dead cats?
- jmatchett383

Hahaha now that would be the $hit if someone threw a dead cat on the ice. At that point the NHL would have no choice but to ban all local celebrations involving Mammalia or Chordata sacrifices.

I think I'm officially caught up on this thread on to the next one

You've been here all day whining about every little thing anyone says. This is typical. The person calling others snowflakes is acting like a snowflake. Hello Pot, I'm Kettle.

Wow. Read the Ducks blog, talk about limp into the WCF??

So take into consideration of what the Preds faced, are they that good?????

Weakened Hawks, Blues that 'could' have but didn't & a injured Duck.

Time will tell, but as I've asked previously, have they faced a team like the Pens yet???

Man, they dominated us for long stretches last night. We caught a break with Neal taking an idiotic penalty (why we traded him), a good bounce on the Bones goal, and lucky to have them offside by an inch on the overturned goal. They've gotten this far, they have a great team. Rinne is the big question mark in my mind - he is like MAF. Capable of stealing a series but also capable of imploding.

I think the Pens are a ton better than what they showed last night, but the Preds deserve credit. They beat all those teams above on the road. I just wish both teams were fully healthy, would make this series even more entertaining.
