But in terms of inconvenience and such there is really no difference? - Feds91Stammer
But in terms of why does that matter it's still littering either way. Add in that teams want the hats since most display them or sell them for charity vs a gross formerly living body they must now properly dispose of.
It's like if wal marts parking lot was covered in ice so I put salt on it (something that helps them long term) vs if my cat died and I threw its dead body (an inconvenience they now need to clean up) out onto the wal mart parking lot. |

I would say it's very similar to cod. Sometimes it has kind of a sweet taste to it but it's definitely like a mild white fish that's like flakey like tilapia.. Sometimes they taste a little earthy though given they are the sluts of the water and eat a bunch of nasty poop. Gotta be fried in cornmeal with some really good dipping sauces tho. With a side of hush puppies and fries. (frank)ing delicious. - j.boyd919

Simple: hats are universally acceptable forms of celebration for an achievement in all arenas for all players. Octopi/squid/whatever are local forms of something for something at a specific location for a specific group of players (ie the local team)
In addition to the fact that I think only Lady Gaga would consider wearing a octopi on her head, while nobody else in their right mind would do so - ScienceJesus
I think the NHL needs to update its traditions and allow for people to throw kittens on the ice instead of hats. Kittens always land on their feet, so they'd be fine. Plus, you'd get to bring an adorable little kitten to a game, which is awesome. |

You need to stop throwing dead cats at stores, sir. |

Not AT the store. Just on their parking lot. |

Well then you need to start throwing more dead cats at the store.
You need to get the right ratio of dead cat on the lot to dead cats at the store.
Edit: And stop haphazardly throwing salt around all willy-nilly. Also, try putting the salt inside of the dead cat before you throw it at the store, it would be like snow coming out of a dead cat. |

Honestly it is better than arguing about 3 plays over and over for 48 hours. - Feds91Stammer
I'd rather be talking about why we didn't get a shot for 37 minutes myself. But the fish thing has traction. Not hating, just find it weird that this is the main topic |

But that's the point. The curse of the catfish was the reason they went 37 minutes without a shot. |

Sure but if it flops more than two times its a delay of game. |

And if the owners of the arena allow that then ok. But if they want to punish someone for breaking the rules then also ok. Right? - Zac_O
Yes it is perfectly okay to kick them out and ban them from the arena. |
