Screw this stupid effin loophole and screw Petersen too if he doesn't sign. Play for the team that drafted you. Vesey would be playing for the cup right now. What an effin moron.

Please...
how about just "decent" in Rochester?
Not only did Martin get sent to the ECHL...
he SUCKED there!

Next are you gonna tell me that Kasdorf is a good prospect?

Vesey let the genie out of the bottle and It's only going to get worse if Cal signs elsewhere as either:

1. More and more players are going to do this as, if I had some real talent and was drafted by the Coyotes, but all I had to do was wait for 30 days after I left school and then sign with my favorite team, you better believe I'm going to do that.

2. teams are going to end up passing on players in college b/c of this loophole fear and they will either miss out on some decent talent and/or that talent will fall to a team that said player is willing to play for and thus, giving a team that shouldn't have been able to draft that level of talent, a free stud

NHL probably won't do anything to address the loophole until one of they're beloved money making teams gets screwed by the process, so we'll just have to wait and see

I always thought it was dumb that college players had this loophole for some reason

If they take Bogosian,
we should all blow up this guy's twitter to say thanks!
Hahaha

I know you'll kill me for this, but...
I still think he can be a decent player when healthy
Tough to count on him though since he seems to constantly be nursing injury

- jdfitz77

I think part of the frustration is that we've seen him be decent.

His issue is he's a peice of glass and doesn't have the smarts to be a top 2-3 defender

Yes and Murray set the franchise back 5 years for trading for his rights.

You're thinking of Pekka

If Rick Tocchet has even half of the same mentality of coaching as Mike Sullivan, then I will be ecstatic to bring him on. Sullivan is simply a phenomenal coach and I hope his assistants have been paying attention to his genius behind the bench. That being said, Pekka is the exact reason why some GMs feel you shouldn't pay a goalie Crosby level money only to get streaks of Crosby play followed by OHL level play. Granted Nashville didn't look good for the last 4 mins, but still his shakiness is not something new

Rinne has been awful, but Nashville misses Johansen a lot. Losing your top center against a team with two of the best at the position in the game is too much to overcome.

True, but Murry has been very good since being back, so that is certainly helping matters, as NSH has played pretty well, up until this last period. They did more than enough to earn a win in game one, but Rinne... Tonight, they definitely had the shots and some good looks, but goalie vs goalie, Murry is showing Rinnie how it's done

I know this sounds cliché...
but I think he loses confidence when he's playing hurt, & it really affects him

U hear guys in hockey talk about how important it is
When he's hurt,
he can't really play physical & doesn't seem to skate with the puck much
Seems to really affect his game

I believe it. Just too bad it's an annual thing.

If he was a 2 million dollar player And not part of a blockbuster trade I think he'd blend in better. But unfortunately that's not the case

In 5 periods and some change Rinne has stopped 28 of 36 shots, Saros should play game 3
