I think he could find a team willing to sign him to a 2 year 8 million dollar contract 4 million a year wouldn't be a bad contract bishop just got 5 million a year, I could see a team like the Flames signing him - Devils314
Yes, but he may not want to go to the Flames. Who wants to live in Alberta? But yes, there may be offers there. But if I'm MAF, I'd take the sure money rather than risk UFA. That's me, personally
It would never happen, but I think Philadelphia would actually be the perfect place to trade him to. |

Seems pretty dumb for vegas to take Joakim Nordstrom over Lee Stempniak but hey, if that's what they wanna do, I'm okay with it. - BINGO!
Carolina would like to keep Stempniak. |

I just don't think he wants to live in a desolate tundra where the main attractions are the semi-annual reindeer herding and measuring how far you can urinate without it freezing.
Just joking, I know this is more indicative of Winnipeg. |

i have to assume that roster is picked on the anticipation of making more trades.
1. The goalies would stand out as trade bait.
2. Judging by the Kuhnackl pick I assume that is with the Pens sending them a pick. One or more of Hornquist, Hagelin, Maata, Dumolin and Fleury will be available. All way better options. - MacPatty
As I've stated in previous articles, LV takes Jimmy Howard over MAF. Hornquist, Hagelin, Maata will be protected. Doumalin is a RFA, and I'm not going to assume anything with RFAs. |

You'll take a Lowry or Myers from the Jets and you'll like it. Perreault won't be exposed. |

so you draft multiple goalies who would have to pass through waivers?
That makes no sense at all
Subban, Pickard, Binnington, Grubauer....all need waivers to go down to AHL since you can carry 6 goalies on a roster.
This isn't the most well thought out roster, you did the same with the Dmen and the Fwds. - DDM-Coga
yeah.
though i do think they overload on dmen a little, easy to trade and a better market than goalies.
at the same time, i expect several 'who the (frank)' picks. guys that can clear waivers, don't count against roster limits, cap limits etc. |

Calgary is a pretty nice town to be honest, I live there, and theres a reason why its always listed as one of the top cities in the world to live in.
Its not New York, Chicago, or LA, but its pretty damn nice place to settle down in |

I would not be shocked to see a guy like rocco grimaldi be picked from the Avs. Was one of the AHL scoring leaders, pretty young, can be a 4th line guy if you need him to be
THere will be a few picks like that. Tweener AHL guys |

I never said it was the best, I simply said it rocks. If I had my way, I'd probably move to Switzerland or Norway, but due to family and money, it's NE USA for me for the forseeable future.
Nice try though. Keep the hate going when someone makes a 100% overly sarcastic remark that you can't handle.
Edit: I actually visited Toronto this past November and thought that it would also be a nice place to live if it wasn't for all of the TML fans. |

LA is gross.....man I could never live there. New York and Chicago though aside from the risk of getting capped haha. |

Well, the fact that I wake up every morning and don't have to worry about what I'm going to eat/drink makes it better than about 60% of the population worldwide as a starter.
The general quality of life, the job market, the relative strength of the current economy, the fact that (for better or for worse) anyone can be elected to become its leader, the fact that it has some of the most famous cities in the world, the fact that it is a leading exporter of good despite all of its outsourcing to 3rd world countries, the fact that we (currently) have more civil liberties than any other country on Earth.
I mean, that's a pretty good start. There's a lot of things that I don't like about America. But given my other options, I think it's a pretty damn good place to live. |

How is LA gross but New York is not? Outside of 20% of Manhattan, New York is a pretty dumpy place, although Brooklyn has gotten much better lately. |
