Nashville needs a #2 behind Johansson....they are not the same team without him.
Reinhart for Ekholm (picks may have to be included on either side) - feetontheair22
That's a guy I'd actually trade Reinhart for
And although you're right about Nashville needing a #2...
I doubt they're gonna break up their top4 defensemen
They'll go 4-4-1 for who they protect
Because of the center issue you bring up, they may even choose Jarnkrok as the 4th forward they protect over Neal (1yr left in his contract)
We might be able to make a trade for Neal so they can get something back instead of losing him to Vegas for nothing
Just make it so they have to wait a year out of hockey before they can sign an NHL contract. - Wetbandit1
I doubt the players association would ever go for that
Doesn't seem reasonable
All they have to do is make it so that an NHL team holds the players rights until he's of age to be a UFA
If the player wants away from the team who drafted him,
then he has the option to go play in Europe or KHL till he's 26
That's what I'd suggest
Protects the team, but still allows the player reasonable options
Heard on GR JBot is already calling people that interviewed to tell them they are no longer in the running. Would think that means the Boughie man would be out. Seems odd cause how can he be so sure he's going to get his guy? Would be a bad look if he hasta run back to one of the guys he turned down. 89 mentioned Donatelli and he is who I'm rooting for. Tocchet is a regular Don Juan and I Don Juan nothing to do with him being the next Sabres coach. - Hatboro_Swords
Word is that Boughner is the top guy for Florida,
And Housley is the top guy here
Housley & Tocchet still have to interview though,
and the interview could certainly change things
Your you are saying i'm being humorous or it's not gonna happen ? - SABRES 89
I'm saying .. after all the BS about lack of "character" in the org. we would even remotely consider a guy that ran a multi-million dollar bookie ring to be the coach.

Just passing it along, didn't say it would happen. ROR is still here so what's your point as is Kane.

Like you said though they are here already, not bringing in ANOTHER guy. I have a hard time believing TP would endorse the RT hire after the things he laid down for the new guy. I'm hoping that Housley is the guy we go hard after.

Kane and ROR are/were under contract and still on the team when the "character" BS narrative proposed as the reason for firing GMTM by Terry came about. I think you recall the presser. A month later and a guy that FUNDED a multi-million dollar gambling ring is somehow the leading candidate to coach the team?
Please don't tell me you don't see the irony in this.
