Lol - sbroads24
It's not like it was 12 selection to 10
It's literally double the selections for Kobe
You're wrong
LeBron is not better than Kobe defensively
Just isn't true
But enjoy your clear bias
I could care less who ppl think is better between the 2 |

One could make an argument for Kobe over LeBron
Much better defensively
Probably better offensively (Kobe was capable of 60+ point games)
No one is saying LeBron stinks
He's obviously awesome too - jdfitz77
Disagreed with both Kobe can't even touch LeBron's elite defense
I'm sick of people saying Kobe scored more that's because he was the biggest ball hog and he trusted no one lol LeBron could easily double his points but he actually plays like a teammate

LeBron's "elite" defense had him selected to the AllDefense team 6times
Kobe was selected 12times
It's not even close |

So Ovechkin is clearly better than Crosby, correct? |

Are you joking?
He was on the NBA's version of the NY Yankees or Dallas Cowboys - sbroads24
If LeBron goes to Miami without "the Decision" sit down with Jim Grey, he probably gets those defensive team honors. LeBron also has a few more years before he reaches Kobe's longevity. |

I've read a few times that Kobe's defense was severely over rated
He was great, not Lebron great |

I would bet that 95% of the "Lebron is the best" crowd wasn't old enough to watch Jordan in his prime. He was such a sure thing, and always shined brightest in the big moments. He was a killer on the court and took every little thing so personally. If a coach made a negative comment about him, he would come out and drop 50-plus on them...glaring at that coach after every basket.
This is the big difference between he and Lebron. Lebron is a crazy physical specimen with insane talent. But he doesn't have that ruthless, killer mentality on the court. If he did, he would surpass everyone. |

Yet the ppl who write the articles u read OVERWHELMINGLY awarded Kobe as a great defensive player DOUBLE the times they did LeBron
Explain that |

Yeah, that insane block in a tie game with a minute left in game 7 wasn't killer mentality. Or hitting a free throw to end it.
Or having 3 straight 40 point games in the finals with the Heat to lock up the series. |

If Ovechkin won the Selke 12 times to crosby's 6...
then u could say he was CLEARLY better defensively
But why don't u just make your point instead of trying to bait me?

Metallica, say what you will about the black album, but they took metal mainstream. That's talent. And people trash Load/Reload, but those were their last good albums until Death Magnetic, which wasn't exactly ...And Justice for All, but it was pretty damn good. Garage has a few good covers, S&M same, but they were so uninspired with Garage that they literally didn't bother to write music. S&M was half and half. A cool idea, but mostly old stuff. No Leaf Clover is good, but that's about it. - Wetbandit1
I hate to break it to you, but metal was already mainstream by the time Black Album came out.
I think what you meant to say was they commercialized metal, big difference. And they turned it into pop: Radio-friendly, catchy, over-produced and dumbed down. |

No, answer the question.
By your standards of the "Writers opinions>>>>>everyone else's"
Then Ovechkin's 3 MVP's make him clearly, or at the very least slightly better than Crosby |

Anybody that doesn't list LeBron James one or two is just a hater at this point
He secured his spot last year when he scored 109 points in the last three games to win The Cleveland Cavaliers their first NBA championship
I don't understand what more he has to do to get peoples respect - GERBE!!!75PTS
Dude, he's not top-3 by any means. He plays in the easiest era, he constantly flops and he's soft as hell. I actually had no issues with him until I researched some of these flopping claims and oh my god, the dude has like 15 points a game just from free-throws. |

Or that elimination game in the Finals in his first stint with the Cavs where he mysteriously refused to shoot the ball and faded into the background as his team lost.
I'm not trying to hate on him. He's an all-time great player...But he's come up small in big moments several times. Jordan NEVER did.

Another one on his over rated defense. Just google it.
It's widely known he shouldn't have all those selections - sbroads24
Limited articles like that from Kobe haters are dwarfed by the selections of over ONE HUNDRED writes & broadcasters TWELVE TIMES
Your bias is just so desperate
Keep calling Kobe's selections "fake news" if u want

I guarantee if you look it up LeBron probably beats Kobe Bryant in every single stat possible and he's only 32 and Kobe Bryant is done
But hey he has 5 rings he's better
But hey he could score 60 any night newsflash LeBron James has more points then Kobe Bryant just saying |

So u wanna compare ONE more MVP award to
SIX more all defensive team awards
If it was 12-10, I wouldn't be arguing with you
But it's not even close
If LeBron is clearly better like u say,
then why is he so drastically outnumbered? |
