Yeah, that one time in 8 finals appearances that he wasn't all world really tarnished everything.
He's literally had 1 bad series in 40+ finals games. - sbroads24
First year with Miami. How do you lose to Dallas with that super team?
You don't. You take over the game and win it yourself if that's what it takes.

I guarantee if you look it up LeBron probably beats Kobe Bryant in every single stat possible and he's only 32 and Kobe Bryant is done
But hey he has 5 rings he's better
But hey he could score 60 any night newsflash LeBron James has more points then Kobe Bryant just saying - GERBE!!!75PTS
Lebron averages 2 more points per game + 4 more assists per game plus more rebounds.
He's worth at a minimum a 10 point difference per game over Kobe |

It's clear you don't know a lot about the NBA
You actually said Kobe wasn't loved by the media - sbroads24
No I didn't
I said he wasn't loved like Jordan
Huge difference
I also listed a number of things Kobe was ripped for
What's clear is u are a fan of LeBron & a hater of Kobe
I don't care one way or the other for either

The Heat weren't a super team.
They had 2 superstars and a couple decent role players.
Chris Bosh was never a superstar |

Dude, he's not top-3 by any means. He plays in the easiest era, he constantly flops and he's soft as hell. I actually had no issues with him until I researched some of these flopping claims and oh my god, the dude has like 15 points a game just from free-throws. - BeadyEyedDouche
Lol name me a player that doesn't flop? Not a top three player did you miss last year where he took the Cleveland Cavaliers on his back and took down the golden state warriors by himself lol
He back packed my whole Miami team when they won their third championship the flash was absolutely done imo |

The NBA in the 80's and 90's was almost a completely different sport. There was a lot of contact, traveling was actually called, so was double-dribbling and they didn't protect stars by rewarding them with fouls for flailing around like children when a guy touches them.
LeBron James is a great to all-time great player. But he is by no means better than Jordan, just like Crosby isn't better than Gretzky, Messier, Yzerman, Orr and a ton of other guys, no matter how you spin it.

So u wanna compare ONE more MVP award to
SIX more all defensive team awards
If it was 12-10, I wouldn't be arguing with you
But it's not even close
If LeBron is clearly better like u say,
then why is he so drastically outnumbered? - jdfitz77

The NBA in the 80s and 90s didn't allow zone defenses either. I'm not sure there is anybody that can match LeBron up man-to-man without help that would have been considered illegal defense 15-20 years ago. He's simply too big and too athletic. |

Did you miss 2012,2013 ? ( hell we would've won 2014 if Half the team would (frank)ing score I think James had over 150 points lol but hey he did nothing
And he did nothing for the Cleveland Cavaliers scoring 110 points in the final three games to win the championship |

I hate to break it to you, but metal was already mainstream by the time Black Album came out.
I think what you meant to say was they commercialized metal, big difference. And they turned it into pop: Radio-friendly, catchy, over-produced and dumbed down. - BeadyEyedDouche
Not like it was after it hit though. It was still in its nascent stages of mainstream and then it hit and it just exploded.
Sure there was commercialization, that comes with being mainstream. |

I'm saying that LeBron has the type of build and athleticism that would thrive without a zone defense. The NBA didn't have many players the size of LeBron with the ability to move like he does as well.
There weren't many players in any era that had the ability to play and defend all five positions on the floor. LeBron is one of those players. Magic Johnson is another. Bird may have been another
Jordan wasn't. Kobe wasn't. Even Chamberlain wasn't. |

They were certainly superior to Dallas. Listen, I'm not trying to change your mind. I think very highly of Lebron, but you're comparing him to the gold standard.
I think you mentioned that you were young during Jordan's prime. I highly recommend watching his Finals performances during his first go-around if you have the means or the time. It was amazing stuff.
I'm not saying that to be jerk or to support my opinion...it was just awesome. He single-handedly made me love basketball.

I understand why Lebron is critiqued differently. Because it's Mount Everest he's being compared to
But the issue is, he's been in the spotlight since 16. Jordan wasn't until he was 21 |

To be fair, if Jordan was 16 in 2001 instead of 1970-whatever it was, he would be. |

Like I said Kobe is an all timer, but this isn't the first discussion about his defensive prowess being over rated. He was obviously great at it, but again, he's not doing the same things James is |
