Dude, you still didn't answer. Crosby or Ovi?
You gave the media/writers the all mighty say. I did not |

They were certainly superior to Dallas. Listen, I'm not trying to change your mind. I think very highly of Lebron, but you're comparing him to the gold standard.
I think you mentioned that you were young during Jordan's prime. I highly recommend watching his Finals performances during his first go-around if you have the means or the time. It was amazing stuff.
I'm not saying that to be jerk or to support my opinion...it was just awesome. He single-handedly made me love basketball. - Deuce81
Everyone in Miami knew LeBron choked in that series and it was the best thing ever he let go of everything that people were against him and everything and took his game to the next level and what happened ? |

I understand why Lebron is critiqued differently. Because it's Mount Everest he's being compared to
But the issue is, he's been in the spotlight since 16. Jordan wasn't until he was 21 - sbroads24
This is true. And he gets a lot of hate for choosing Miami.
I know I probably sound like I don't like him, which isn't true. I actually felt strangely emotional about Cleveland winning last year. Maybe it was just the correlation between Cleveland and Buffalo sports...
But Lebron was different last year. He stepped up and took over. It was beautiful to see. He was on a mission.

Like I said earlier, if LeBron didn't turn it into the circus he did, and simply signed on the dotted line with the Heat, he's not nearly the villain that he is today. There would still be hurt, but the delivery had just as much to do with it as the decision itself.
Also, I never bought into the "wanting to see another small or suffering market win". I care about only one small market winning a championship: the one I live in. |

Yeah, I have no problem when people say Jordan>Lebron. That's debatable to me.
But when people say "player X who statistically isn't even top 10 all time > Lebron is my issue |

If it was 12/11 you'd have an argument
That's clearly close
12/6 is not
EXPLAIN IT
Or can't you?
Just admit you're wrong |

Do you know how many examples I can find of the media making awful award picks?
Like giving Drew Doughty the Norris last year over Hedman and Karlsson?
Or trying to convince people PK Subban is inferior to Shea Weber |

They might be closer than I am making it out to be, but I've watched a lot of both their careers. I think Lebron is better at D, and can guard different pos. |

Yes to all
But would the Kings even trade Muzzin?
I can't see it happening
Which means I hope we don't trade Kane to LA...
I don't see what else they could offer...
Martinez + a 1st? Would they do that? |

I'm super intrigued to see what Botterill thinks of certain guys (Kane, Reinhart especially). He's been coy so far, but I'm thinking his moves will tell us the story.
