From TSN:
According to general manager George McPhee, the Vegas Golden Knights are willing to take on players with high cap hits - for a price.
McPhee told the Las Vegas Review-Journal the Golden Knights have been offered high-figure contracts from teams looking to get under the salary cap and the Knights aren't against spending the money for a return.
“We have a lot of teams offering us big contracts,” McPhee said. “We’ll take a few of those, for the right price.”
Certainly seems possible id give up a second and a third to Vegas to get rid of Bogo, not as impossible as it seems, just have to pay the price - Sabres1523
Does anyone think that if Housley ends up being the new HC, that Bogo may actually flourish? I'm only asking because I feel he does have the skills to jump up into the play more and wreak some havoc in the O-Zone. |

Sure, but for how long?
The issue with Bogo is that he takes quite a bit of time to acclimate himself to game play and he gets injured every year. When he gets back from whatever his most recent ailment was, he's ineffective for at least 10 games until he gets back up to "game speed." If he's out for an extended period, the amount of time he takes to re-acclimate is even longer. |

As much as Bogo's contract needs to go, I don't think I'd part with that much to do it.
Really can't keep moving 2nd and 3rds for nothing |

Larsson is a better PK guy and more of a pest |

I agree. Even Moulson's contract is not crippling. I'd just wait it out, or even buy him out at less of a cost at the end of this season. I'd focus more on adding right now than subtracting. |

Very good point. I was just interested in others' thoughts. He is one of the most frustrating players to me. It's like Stafford. You see what he can be sometimes, but he never maintains it. |

As much hate as Bogo gets, he's useful in the right situations, just not at his salary (obviously). I think there's an outside chance that Vegas would actually want Bogo |

I'd offer to retain salary (1.5 mil) for his remaining 3 years and offer a 3.5 mil d man to anyone for a 4th or 5th rounder.

After this upcoming season is when it's going to be tricky.
Bogo should find a way out the door by then |

Moving over priced , poopty talent is just as Hard nowadays as getting great young talent on sweet contracts.

Id give up a 3rd to make it happen |

I think Larsson is one of the reasons we struggled last year (after he was hurt). He seems to be a "pest" when checking people (trying to get the puck) and plays on the penalty kill (decent face off guy) to take people like O'Reilly off the penalty kill to make him more useful elsewhere. So I think Larsson is a great 3rd or 4th line center. Replaceable yes, but I think I would still want him on the team right now.
Edit: Just saw jcragcrumple comments, I agree, haha |

Was there mention of it from Bob?
I didn't see him mention it at all on twitter.
Maybe on a segment? |

If you're busy or can't listen, McKenzie is wondering if Botterill is sold on Lehner as his number 1 goalie.

In Stanley Cup news today.
My gf hit me with a towel as I was getting into the shower.
I'm sending the video tape into the league to see if I can get her suspended, ejected from my house or arrested.
