It was spectacular. - jochfr
I feel like people who didn't get to see Jordan actually play in his prime will NEVER understand how fantastic he was. It's not even close, he's the Wayne Gretzky of Basketball and even then some. He was on another level, like Mike Tyson in his prime (imo could have beat Ali even in HIS prime).

Magic Johnson?

Not HIV but full blown AIDS.
Do you think he would've won 8 straight? - Hatboro_Swords
The Bulls without a doubt would have won 8 straight if Jordan hadn't gotten his father murdered and had to leave the NBA due to mafia ties for 2 years.
LeBron will always be a flopper who played in an era that allows double-dribbling, traveling and 76 free throws a game.
And Jordan never faced a team like Golden State because the Bulls were that team.

Add traveling to the list. Holy S, ABC cut to commercial showing a 3-ball Curry hit and I poop you not clearly took four steps after he picked up his dribble. Pivot foot didn't stay down either. right left right left. ABC was playing it off as being a shooting spectacle.

I had traveling on the list, you bolded it
But we're on the same page, here. It's a joke right now, idgaf what anyone says. I used to be a casual fan when I was younger but it's unwatchable right now. Too much wussy-footing and wankery.
The issue with Bogo is that he takes quite a bit of time to acclimate himself to game play and he gets injured every year. When he gets back from whatever his most recent ailment was, he's ineffective for at least 10 games until he gets back up to "game speed." If he's out for an extended period, the amount of time he takes to re-acclimate is even longer. - HonkFortheGoose
I think it's mainly an issue of desensitization with him, when he's not in the lineup you don't notice some boneheaded plays, so that when he comes back and makes boneheaded plays it's new, and then over the course of a few weeks, it slowly fades into the background and you don't notice it as much.
No band comes close to what they did. They were so groovy and dark and heavy - chilliard77
They were my most listened to band for a few years in highschool, and 20+ yrs later I still really dig it, I just dont listen to it as much...but it still stands the test of time.
But as far as other bands acomplishments, nobody can claim the influence they had, they were the first....but Motorhead has put out as many quality albums and their brand of Metal has, in my opinion, influenced all aggressive genres of Metal and Punk, so they are a close second.
Agreed. Their first four albums are perfection, with another couple really great ones.
What other metal band comes close with 6 great albums in a row right out of the gates? - Larsson_fan
Metallica, say what you will about the black album, but they took metal mainstream. That's talent. And people trash Load/Reload, but those were their last good albums until Death Magnetic, which wasn't exactly ...And Justice for All, but it was pretty damn good. Garage has a few good covers, S&M same, but they were so uninspired with Garage that they literally didn't bother to write music. S&M was half and half. A cool idea, but mostly old stuff. No Leaf Clover is good, but that's about it.

No.
The 1st 4 Metallica LP's are killer and so is the $5.98 ep.
I still say the Black Album for what it was was really good. So, ok that's 5. But you still only said Black Sabbath's first 4 were amazing. - Wetbandit1
SBloodyS and Sabotage were great not quite as good as the first four. Heaven and Hell is awesome too.
