Yeah I've heard about him going off...I just can't believe he'd do it on air in a competing sports final and on a different network. Then again, Sir Charles has never cared about upsetting others.

Preds have been the better team 3 of 4 games. I hope they destroy the Pens next game, but Pittsburgh is not going to be a friendly environment, especially with all the talk about how loud Nashville has been. Should be another good game.

i dont know how to feel about it as an overall barometer of the league, but i just dont know how someone can say this finals isnt absolutely compelling, must tune in for stuff.

I believe Barkley was saying that there's no excitement through the regular season and most of the playoffs and it's pretty true. It's hard to get excited when you know with pretty good certainty before pre-season who the final four teams are going to be. The NBA could really use some parity.

i dont think theres a single thing in there that is false per se.

some of it simply has to do with the long seasons. teams that know they are going to be in it really just dont have the incentive on a random night in january.

everyone knew this season was going to be golden state/cleveland. this is exactly what most people wanted to see. yes, it stinks in a way that it was so predetermined, but it doesnt make this finals that much more compelling. i can see the case for both ways. im not nearly as die hard for the NBA as i would be for the NHL. but this finals has me excited to watch, regardless of the outcome.
