I particularly enjoyed watching Millbury try to frantically change the subject
- YuenglingJagr

That was a great segment even with having to figure out what the hell Charles was saying. Milbury wanted no part of it for fear of losing his job while Barkley was just ripping everything.

Barkley's next contract negotiation will be fun.
CB: I want a guaranteed contract.
TNT: Ummmmm we can't do that.
CB: Why not I got it last time.
TNT: Something about changes in how on air talent is contracted.
CB: You just want to fire my ass without paying me if I go anywhere and say anything!
TNT: Ummmmm yes Charles.
CB: (frank)!

I'd like to see the math behind this please.
- Streit2ThePoint

It's pretty simple. Guys like Vlasic, Ellis and Carlo are all bad defensemen because they have low Corsi Rel.

BSH is mad because Provorov is going to get lumped in with them because playing with MacDonald lowered his Corsi Rel.

I'm jealous. I love Nashville. Been there twice including last 4th of July. I really want to see a game there

When watching the scf 2 things come to mind for me

1. How fast they are playing and how utterly dominated the flyers would be

2. Neither team would have a use for Brayden schenn if he was available to them

- Just5

That's just dumb given that Harry Z has played 10 games for Nashville, and they have 11 points total out of Fisher, Wilson, and Smith who are all $4m guys.

I believe Barkley was saying that there's no excitement through the regular season and most of the playoffs and it's pretty true. It's hard to get excited when you know with pretty good certainty before pre-season who the final four teams are going to be. The NBA could really use some parity.
- Sublime55

Fans don't want parity. They want to see greatness challenged. No one complained about the Lakers and Celics winning in the 80s or the Bulls winning in the 90s.

It was bad for the league that Durant went to the Warriors, but it was a perfect storm scenario. Something like that probably won't happen again in our lifetimes.

Just5 didn't quote anything about Corsi Rel, even though I know the article and many others do.

This fan doesn't want forced parity, a la the NHL. Organic parity is fine. Without forced parity you are more likely to get dominant teams and the occasional dynasty team. I'm cool with that.

The NHL is a high variance sport because luck plays such a large role. The NBA contains the least amount of luck of the four major sports, so the best teams are usually going to win. That's why there is less parity in the NBA (even if you properly changed the point system).

Non-GMO parity is the only parity I acknowledge. I prefer sports leagues that are not full of harmful toxins. Would you feed your child a toxin-infused sports league? Unacceptable. You should not be feeding yourself this either. It's harmful, detrimental, and causes cancer. Monsanto is pumping cancerous toxins into everyone, in accordance with big pharma's monetary incentive, so big pharma can reap the benefits. Disgusting.

Shh, facts confuse things around here. Kind of the same way reason and logic do as well.

Then what's the point?

I actually would like to read the book.

Not sure it would change my mind on luck, but I think it would be interesting.

Even if you think that Smith purposely ran into him, Murray was not stopping that

Changes on a day to day basis, it is determined by a combination of the position of the planet Saturn, if it's cloudy outside in Ames, Iowa and on the severity of Gary Bettman's hemorrhoids. Of course, these conditions are all meaningless on the third Tuesday of any month with an "o" in it's name, on those days, goaltender interference is determined to be anything that leads to the decapitation of the goaltender. All else is good to go.

Is this about the first goal? I had a game of my own and missed the first two periods.
