My son said "Dada" for the first time. It was really cool to see, and I know it made Mononoke happy.

It's going to be really difficult to explain to him what to call me

"They look at probably way more numbers than we would even know about, to be honest," center Colton Sissons said. "I don't know if they have some number secret that nobody else has. It would be awesome if they do."

The plot thickens.

Maybe I've got the context wrong here, but my guess would be "mama."

Every team has different ways of collecting and using information. The Predators must as well, but not too much of it is actually shared with the players. Too much information can be paralyzing.

Seems about as thick as I assumed it to be.

I asked the other day. Seems like he's pretty far off the radar at the moment.

If they don't refer to you exclusively as Vegas Golden Knights Blogger you've failed as a parent.

this team need a top 2 guy more so than a bottom guy. That would help everyone around play in a more comfortable spot. besides come the summer many bottom guys lingering. Maybe you get both.

I don't buy into the blocking mantra. If your good enough I have too think they will find a spot.

Good catch, and my bad assuming the old-fashioned traditional relationship model.

People hate him but a guy I have always liked is Phaneuf.

I would take him at 50% retained. Ottawa would probably like to move him to clear some space.

I guess again it would depend if you can move MacDonald in the deal or in another one.

Remember that time against us where he waived one of his own forwards out of a faceoff to take it himself (despite never taking a faceoff in the NHL before) and the puck ended up in the Leafs net almost instantly?

Remember the time Provorov was minus 7 in one game. poop happens to all players.

The Flyers i don't think can have a top 6 on d with all prospects. I think he is a guy who can be a vet with them moving forward who can play minutes and tough situations.

I think it's unlikely the Flyers do anything like taking on a defenseman. They need the roster space in order to give guys a chance next year.

Possibly could have positioned themselves to take on a forward, but with Filppula's spot and salary solidified for next season, I see that as unlikely as well.

I really think this is going to be a quiet offseason. I'm not even sure they should sign anyone other than a goalie and their own guys.
