My favourites to take his place would be Williams, Boyle, Fisher, or Eaves but any of the others listed will do. Addition by subtraction. Eberle's game has been trending down for a long time. As I've said, he may flourish with another organization, who cares. Just like Schultz before him, he needs to go.

I'm alright with trading Eberle for another top 4 D. Preferably for one with 2-3 years of contract left at most.
As for Oshie , or any UFA for that matter, will we be able to sign them for less than 7 years?
