Kassian became a fan favorite during the playoffs but real Oiler fans know that he is a liability as well. He could be a lot better if he could stop taking stupid penalties and play more like he did in the playoffs, all the time. Montreal needed a goalie. Scrivens was paid too much to be a back up and apparently Chiarelli doesn't know what a backup goalie is anyways. Montreal offered, Chiarelli accepted. Kassian sucked. Again it was Kassian that developed amidst this young team that apparently has really gelled as a group. He brought his game up. Not giving Chiarelli credit for dumb luck.
