I like Kane's play for the most part (when he is on his game) but he's 6th on a bottom 5 team in points over the past two years, and we want to give him 6 mil?

They probably would, but two things

A. You can say that for most wingers, and can find a guy to ride shotgun with an elite center for a good price
B. He's historically had issues finding chemistry with ALL centers. He was moved constantly in WPG, and it's been the same here.

If he was already locked up for the next 3 years at 5 mil, this isn't even a discussion, unless they desperately want him gone

B. Can't blame the shuffling here on Kane. He had pretty good chemistry with Eichel but Disco couldn't resist tinkering with everybody.

I would be in favor of offering pretty much anyone up to see what offers we get. I am a lifetime fan and I have never felt so little connection to so many players ever. Eichel and that's it. I would be happy to see offers for anyone else at this point.
