Off the ice totally agree, on the ice different story. Whether you like him or not his blend of speed toughness and scoring is very rare in the NHL. Hes far from perfect, but I def don't see him as a waste of space either.

How about trade Reinhart? Oh wait.....we covered that as well

I said it that Murray wasn't going to trade Kane and he didn't, Pegula keeps talking about character players well if he was that pissed off at what Kane did over a year ago, then he would have ordered Murray to move him. I was told that a while back. Pegula was more pissed that Murray had offers for Kulikov and Franson and didn't move either. He also had a few other offers as well but that's done and over with.

It's a wait and see now with Botterill, we lost a couple good players and picks with what Murray did.

my big thing with kane is whether or not he re-sign and if he wants to, will he do so at a reasonable price and term...am of the opinion that $6m is about as high as you want to go with him and that an extension should not be longer than three years...

if he's not on board with something like that, based upon his history both positive and negative, than you move him

But Winnipeg is apparently looking for a LH dman for him!,but Anaheim is looking for a top scoring winger! The problem is they want non protection players/picks?maybe after july 1st buffalo looks for a dman?

Agree however, as of now it's a wait and see. I was told before that Kane ha no issues playing here and would like to stay. Now things can change we all know that.

I'd like to have Drouin but I don't think it will work out trying to trade for him. We aren't good trade partners with Tampa.

Kane brings everything we lack up front:
speed
5 vs 5 scoring
grit
scoring from the wing

Better be a darn good deal to move him imo. I say lock him up (with a contract, not the other way)
