Agreed.
It's going to be interesting. I have a ton of faith in him. He's been groomed under a successful organization for a while - sbroads24
Thats good . One of your bretheren just refered to him one of the brightest minds in hockey.
Yu guys can have all the faith you want, just remember that just remember he was hired for two reasons.
HE was a 'part' of the most recent SC champs.
He convinced Pegula he was the man.
Thats it,thats all. |

Can we stop with this?
Murray was patient at the wrong time.
He sucked, he's gone, move on - sbroads24
Sure, just as soon as you drop the blind hatred for Kane. He could save you from a fire and then a rabid dog attack and you'd still call him an bumhole. |

Chiarelli was hired because he built the Bruins into a winner and then made a few ridiculous trades and saw the Oilers won the lottery and figured he couldn't possibly screw it up |

Perhaps Charles Barkley should make the rounds on all NHL TV broadcasts again tomorrow and remind everyone how boring the NBA has been. If that's what it takes to get a game worth watching to the end... |

The Warriors are too good.
Cleveland had maybe one of the best games two players have had on the same team all year, and lost |

umm yes Buffalo would...but I doubt Carolina would
Buffalo would have to add.
Carolina easily would.
They have Jordan Staal as their number one centre. Reinhart would automatically become their number one centre. |

Isn't that why Chirelli still has a job? Winning a cup. Wasn't his first move with the Oilers a 1st and 2nd for Reinhart? Lol. Only reason Chirelli looks good is because of McDavid. |

6 months from now " it's housley, guy clearly has no idea how to use defencemen" - Sabresfan-365
The only good coaching accomplishment Disco can make from his time here is how well the pp was. Just about everything else, from line juggling to misusing players on lines they have no business on, to overplaying our 2 best players almost to the point of being comical, to our being pathetic on shootouts, to losing the locker room, to quibbling in the press about players, to not molding his system to the talent we have, to amending the teams' discipline system, to not getting a single one of our d-men to play to their strengths, these things seal the fate of coach on an under-performing team.
But, yeah, the fan base was impatient and wouldn't let DD have another 3 years because his first 2 were soooo successful. Bad take, man. |

Bylsma's asset management was poor. However, it didn't cause underachievement. It simply made a bad team worse.

The real bad take is assuming the coaching was the big reason this team was bad. Unless we're talking one of the truly elite or truly moronic no coach has that big of an impact. Bylsma was bad and the players didnt respond but thats the difference between them finishing 9th worst and 5th worst. They were still bad. |

What I have learned
We are too good for -
Jake Muzzin (he's also like Bogo)
Noah Hanifin (Unless CAR adds )
Kane is better than Okposo and O'Reilly
Bylsma is the reason we aren't in Game 5 against Nashville
