How are those anal fissures doing? - chilliard77

I'm done trading 1st round picks for NHL ready players. TM did it, and look where it got us! Build the team through the draft, especially when you have the luxury of having the 8th pick, and 2nds. Take 2 dmen with the first 2 picks. While experts say this draft is void of elite level talent, it surely does offer plenty of kids who can develop into fine NHL players.
Look, Murray put this organization in a complete mess. It's going to take a while no matter who we bring in as our coach, and how great we overhaul this pathetic defense. We do have a solid core we can obviously build around, so there is no starting from scratch. But the problem with TM was that he was far too impatient, and wanted to build a team that could make the playoffs way too soon, especially after being a historically bad team for 2 years.
So even though it does suck, if you want it done the right way, then most likely it will take another 3 years before we seriously start talking playoffs. And it starts with this and next years draft. I'm not saying we shouldn't make any trades, or sign any FAs, but look at the teams on the rise like Nashville, Minnesota, Florida (even tho they had an off year) and TB. All of their players were drafted and developed.
Sure, we could start trading picks and prospects again, and probably contend for a playoff spot this year. But I'm not willing to morgtage the future again for immediate gratification. I want to be good for the long term, not just be fighting for the 8 seed for 2 or 3 years. Keep the picks, continue to develop the prospects we do have, and sit back and wait. Oh and by the way, we do have Jack Eichel to ease the pain of maybe losing for another year or 2, by watching one of the best players in the league battle it out with these other great kids. I'm fine with that.
Again, Murray didn't leave us in a very good situation, so doing it right will take a while, but Jack, Sam, Guhle, Risto will all be coming into their prime when it's time to contend for the Cup. Chew on that for a minute, and maybe it won't be so bad - Dukey3030
It's very possible that Reinhart will be traded and Eichel is not going to continue to play for a poopty team. He was furious about not making the playoffs this season and everyone knew how much we sucked. |

but kind of really good ish like we need. - Sabresfan-365
Yeah, I'm not concerned about size. Risto and McCabe are big enough. It's not like we'd have an entire blueline of Tory Krugs. |

in an era where the idea of a good two way or defensive defencemen is shifting from shot blockers and bruisers to puck movers size isn't as big of an issue.
It obviously still matters but the book on Brannstrom is he's a helluva skater, that usually makes up for being under 6 feet. |

Exactly. You still need big guys for certain situations, but not everyone has to be big. If Justin Falk was the biggest guy we had then I would say we could probably use a bigger guy, but I think we're fine to add another smallish guy. I don't know that I'd want to add more than one more with Antipin, if he works, and Guhle, same. Already penciled in.
I can't remember Guhle has one more year of junior left right? |

Again, that's the same thing, I could eat like a pig for a week or two before hand get blood work and go back a week later with levels still rising even though I did said "cleanse". Your body takes a long time to adjust to things. It likes things the way they are and will do a lot to keep it that way. That's why addiction is such a pain in the ass. Your body becomes accustomed to certain chemicals and when you go without said chemicals your body, brain really, floods your body with chemicals that make you feel like poop, and then once you intake those chemicals your body wants it releases a ton of happy chemicals. And the cycle repeats itself. - Wetbandit1
You are wrong my friend I would happily let you eat like a pig for two weeks and just do the detox for a week and you'll see your levels decrease
You're basically just restarting your body all you'll have to do is just drink black coffee and just eat fruit
that's the first step of restoring your metabolism

But I'm hoping our new GM does a trade like a Phil Kessel type
If we could somehow land JT damn that's the ultimate playoff ticket right there |

Guhle is pretty big (maybe a little lanky but hes got height). AHL eligible now. |

You keep saying different things. First is was just water, then it was fruit and water, now it's black coffee and fruit?
Link me to a real, scientific article that says this works and I'll start to think about buying it.
Until then it's just nonsense. |

But he's not physical. That's really what I meant.
That's good. I have a feeling he's going to get the Pysyk treatment. Antipin is going to take his spot. And thankfully he'll just be in Rochester so he'll be able to play during injuries.
I have to work under the assumption that nobody gets moved as that's the most likely outcome. Risto, McCabe, Antipin, Gorges, Bogo, Fedun, and Falk will probably be resigned if he wants to stay. That's already 7. And I'd rather have Guhle play in the AHL then sit in the press box for weeks at a time. A few games here and there would probably be beneficial, but not too much time. |

Peaches are awesome. I don't buy fresh ones for that very reason. I like them in grape juice from Dole. They're so awesome. And to cut you off, no there's no added sugar or corn syrup. Just peaches and 100% fruit juice. |

I dont think you can give him the pysyk treatment (ahl minutes) if the defence stays like this.
You'd be banking on a rookie who's never played in north america coming in and playing 23-25 mins a night on a pair with bogosian. Id tear up my contract before the first shift.
It would work if they could bring in a guy like Brendan Smith to take the 2nd LD spot. |

Yeah, I'm not saying it's ideal, just that more often than not no significant moves are made as far as dumping guys. It might be a little more probable this year with expansion, but it's still a long shot. |

Oh I know water one is extremely dangerous one of my friends Did it for about 20 days for an acting gig he lost probably over 30 pounds
He couldn't leave the house or anything because you can't put any stress on your legs or anything you had to just stay in one place or you will get lightheaded and you might collapse

Not sure exactly why but I'm thinking that Liljegren will be this year's Chychrun. He has talent, as did Chooch. They both saw their stocks fall throughout their draft years. Both were considered top 5 picks leading up to their draft years.
Both will be very good defenders in this league for a long time.
