Larsson will not be a Sabre next year IMO.

I'm talking about both, independently. I think this jersey will sell incredibly well, and i can't imagine the market for World Junior jerseys has been scorching hot in the past. Considering this venue has a chance to break the attendance record, and assuming half the 71,000 fans are American, that means there are 35,000 potential walk-in customers on game day, not to mention online sales.

He's a cheap younger player that they could probably take on along with Moulson or whoever we end up dumping on them

Say the jersey they picked was a more traditional design. The average fan of hockey in Chicago or Minnesota isn't going to buy a world Junior jersey for a tournament 500 miles away anyway. They're marketing to the host city to drive up demand, and i'll definitely be getting one .
