i mean an established one sure thats one thing but really this team wants to open things up and start having the defence get involved more offensively. This would not be the time to invest heavy in a goalie you're not totally sure about.

Don't let it get to arb. This is his first test. Get him to sign a 2 for $7.75M. Because arb is going to be over 4 with his numbers. Wins would be the only thing to ding him, but top 10 SV% for the entire season looks real good. They don't use advanced stats for goalies yet.

Maybe but he wasn't ... so out of Bogo (3yrs @ $5.1M) Moulson (2yrs @ $5M) and Ennis (2 yrs @ $4.6M) ... if you had to keep one who would it be

Agree ... Ullmark @ $750K and sign Lehner for $3.75M max for 2 years is $4.5M for goalies which is more like it if you think Lehner is the answer and I'm not sure he is
